from various lab rats:
Back
to this gorgeous latin city, ill and exhausted (this you can
figure out), but reasonably happy and overwhelmed by the a
post L energy. First I’d like to thank you for the energy
that you bunch of happy people devoted to the launching of
the Lab. I’d like to thank you for your hospitality,
and the very inclusive and respectful ways under which you
launch it. From a French activist perspective, the way this
space works, the fact that as a perfect unknown newcomer,
I was allowed in this clown meeting …, this absolute
quite atmosphere under which the Saturday tea debriefing took
place, are simply amazing. … The fact that the lab as
a process worked, the process being reasonably self-organized
after your initial launching under these commons rules, that
trust, friendships, ideas, practices, desires, pleasure, energies
and sandwiches were circulating is surely a success. Thanks
for creating its possibility.
This process is really powerful and one should think about
a way of allowing these interactions to continue ….
Nicolas.
“…
I enjoyed myself immensely during the lab, indeed felt a significant
amount of depression gathered from the every-day experience
of the academy and art-world pretentiousness, from their merciless
lack of humour- to both of which I myself also occasionally
participate - as well s from the often frustrated rhetoric
of many groups trying to articulate a consistent theory and
practice of resistance, released in the call for the “essentiality
of acting subversively stupid” (as explained for the
Clowns and beyond) and at moments felt deeply sorry for the
policemen who often appeared not even suspecting the possibility
of laughing at what took place in front of their eyes.”

Thanks
to everyone involved in the lab. Thought it was great to get
so many groups and individuals working together to make creative
chaos.

Well
done to all the unwashed and unwanted OTHERS who made the
weekend such a great success. …
A massive thank you to H at RampArt for housing everyone,
but most importantly I must thank you for joining M and myself
in swallowing pound coins as part of OUR action to cause economic
disruption by removing coins from circulation. Unfortunately
I was unable to shit mine out until Monday morning at J's
house (severely malnourished and too tired to operate video
equipment to record the event). However, I have presented
J with the beautifully tarnished coin (I hope you were able
to retrieve your coins and marvel at the beautiful rainbows
that the hydrochloric acid in your gut creates) in the hope
he and you will spread the word about the repulsive, controlling
nature of the coin in society. ….. KEEP EATING AND SHITTING
COINS. REVULSE PEOPLE WITH YOUR STORY OF SIFTING THROUGH YOUR
OWN SHIT TO PREVENT THEM HANDLING COINS. WE DO NOT NEED TO
BE CONTROLLED BY COINS.
Keep up the good work. Chris. XXX.
Well,
I had so much fun this weekend - I'm just refusing to believe
it's all over ... I felt on such a healthy high - don't want
to come down from it!.
